Implementation Engineering Specialist

About the role

Checkout.com, a fintech payments platform powering over 10 billion transactions a year for more than one billion shoppers, is hiring an Implementation Engineering Specialist in Singapore. The role supports merchants who integrate Checkout.com's payment processing technology, from configuration and debugging to go-live and post-live support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to merchants during the implementation of Checkout.com payment processing technology.
• Answer integration-related questions, including configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live support and post-live support.
• Manage integration incidents: investigation, troubleshooting, escalation, resolution, reporting, time tracking and analysis.
• Partner with internal teams such as Merchant Configuration, Sales, Account Managers and Merchant Care to resolve issues during customer trials, integrations and post-implementation support.
• Work with Product teams to identify improvement ideas and advise the manager on issues affecting customer satisfaction.
• Multitask across several customer projects and integrations, and maintain or update existing integration libraries and plugins.

Required profile

• 2+ years of development or technical support experience in a tech or FinTech company.
• Payments experience is advantageous.
• Ability to speak and write in both English and Chinese.
• Customer-focused, target-driven mindset and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of API, REST, webhooks and logs (required).
• Coding in at least one of: Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Go, C#.
• Node.js and React are a plus; iOS/Android knowledge is a plus.
