Industrial Engineer (IE) - PDE

About the role

Micron is hiring an Industrial Engineer under its Package Development & Engineering (PDE) team at Fab 10A. You will develop, align and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective capacity modeling, working with Technology Development, the Key Equipment Group and other site stakeholders to support Micron's business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own EPT-related topics and consolidate and align MOR/UPH/EPT improvements across the Micron site and the central team.
• Work with manufacturing sites and central teams to give technical direction and keep engineering tool time and space aligned between the site and Technology Development.
• Drive capex saving projects within PDE and the sites to meet the fiscal year target.
• Explore, study and recommend system automation opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Use AI-assisted tools and insights in daily work to improve efficiency, quality or effectiveness, following organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying, testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within your scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or Computer Science.
• Good verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to map relevant conclusions to support decision-making.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI tools responsibly and effectively.
