Infrastructure Automation Engineer (AIOps) – Contract

About the role

We are looking for a senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, develop and roll out observability and automation solutions that power our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives. You will work on AIOps and Agentic AI workflows that automate diagnostics, remediation and predictive incident prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Python and/or LangGraph scripts and AI‑driven workflows to automate operational tasks, diagnostics and remediation.
• Build AIOps capabilities for predictive alerting, anomaly detection and intelligent event correlation across infrastructure and applications.
• Design and operationalise agentic AI solutions that augment incident response and enable self‑healing, auto‑remediation workflows.
• Implement infrastructure automation for provisioning, configuration and management with auditable processes.
• Manage automation and AI code in GitHub, applying version control, code review and collaboration best practices.
• Integrate AIOps components into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing, validation and deployment.
• Implement observability across metrics, logs and traces to support proactive reliability management.
• Collaborate with Application, Infrastructure, Cloud and Cyber teams to embed reliability practices and ensure root‑cause transparency.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience developing AIOps and Agentic AI solutions using Python and/or LangGraph.
• Proven experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in infrastructure automation, observability and event correlation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Python, AWS DevOps, Azure DevOps, SRE, ITIL) are a plus.
