Infrastructure Engineer – Hybrid (Mid-Level)

About the role

HOYA Electronics is looking for a proactive Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support critical IT systems across its manufacturing and office environments in Singapore. You will ensure reliability, security, and performance of the infrastructure while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage network, servers (Windows, Linux, HP‑UX), storage and backup solutions.
• Monitor and respond to IT security incidents, perform patch management, virus/malware protection and system hardening.
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services across all devices.
• Conduct performance and capacity planning for the entire IT infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain IT security policies, compliance measures, audits and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for system upgrades and issue resolution.
• Set up monitoring tools and configure alerts.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure support.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
• VMware and Nutanix virtualization platforms.
• Microsoft Azure, SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
• HP‑UX, Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Network security, firewalls and routing protocols.
• Storage, backup, patch management and virus/malware protection.
• System hardening, performance and capacity planning.
