Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, hands‑on Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain our enterprise IT environment. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical systems across production, staging, and development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware, storage, firewalls, and backup solutions.
• Perform system installation, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Implement security hardening and ensure compliance with industry and government standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure incidents.
• Support disaster‑recovery, backup, and replication activities.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on projects, upgrades, and incident resolution.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, system diagrams, and operational reports.
• Contribute to automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure administration and support.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, RHCSA/RHCE, VMware VCP, or ITIL are a plus.
