Infrastructure Lead (Google Cloud Platform)

About the role

Infrastructure Lead (Google Cloud Platform) will drive the design, deployment, automation and security of cloud solutions on GCP for large‑scale enterprise projects. The role reports to senior leadership and provides visibility to Director‑level stakeholders across digital transformation, operations and maintenance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical architecture on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring robust design and implementation for enterprise‑scale workloads.
• Set priorities and align operation and maintenance activities with client contractual obligations.
• Act as the focal point for escalation reporting, incident management and KPI delivery reporting.
• Develop and document new processes to improve service delivery and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Prepare project status reports, meeting minutes and action items for PMC reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on experience delivering large enterprise GCP projects (budget ≥ $5 million).
• Professional‑level Google Cloud certifications such as Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Developer.
• At least 5 years of experience with Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Build, CI/CD tools, Deployment Manager, Pulumi or Terraform.
• Strong scripting expertise in Python and Shell, with exposure to AI technologies and LLM optimisation considered an advantage.
