Injection Moulding Engineering Specialist – Precision Plastics

About the role

We are seeking an Injection Moulding Engineering Specialist to lead precision plastic injection moulding operations across Singapore. The role focuses on high‑precision machine and tooling setup, process optimisation, and advanced troubleshooting to ensure top‑quality production.

Key responsibilities

• Set up multi‑cavity, high‑precision molds, core pulls, complex sliders and auxiliary equipment.
• Program and fine‑tune critical injection parameters such as multi‑stage speeds, hold pressures, melt temperatures and cycle times for high‑performance resins.
• Diagnose and resolve moulding defects including micro‑flash, gas burns, voids, sink marks and warping.
• Operate, set up and troubleshoot 3‑axis/5‑axis robotic sprue pickers and automated vision inspection systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on moulds, cleaning tool inserts, core pins and parting lines to extend tooling life.

Required profile

• Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology or related field.
• 2‑3 years hands‑on experience in high‑precision plastic injection moulding, preferably in semiconductor or electronics tooling.
