Inspector - Engine Components

About the role

GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS) is looking for an Inspector to carry out visual and dimensional inspection of incoming, in-process and finished engine components against written quality plans. GEAESS is the group's largest site for engine component MRO, covering more than 60% of global repair volume.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure parts meet specification requirements and that work clearance, correctness and completeness are maintained.
• Prevent non-conforming parts from moving to the next workstation.
• Support Manufacturing Engineers and Quality System Engineers with evaluations and audit-related activities.
• Collect data and give feedback on the quality of inspected parts to the engineers.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections and manage the area where parts are stored.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and housekeeping tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Precision or Manufacturing Engineering.
• QC experience in the repair of aircraft engine components.
• Able to read and understand manufacturing operation sheets and standard operating procedures in English.
• Preferred: CAAS Air Legislation Paper L11, L12 or C14.
• Preferred: knowledge of flaws and defects, ability to read blueprints, computer literacy in Microsoft Office, and a team player.
