Intern, Account Management - Merchant Growth

About the role

Grab's Commercial team in Singapore works with F&B, enterprise retail and FMCG merchants to grow their sales across Grab's services such as Ads, Pay and Express. This full-time internship supports merchant growth operations through merchant communication, account coordination, data management and internal service delivery, working alongside Account Managers to maintain accurate account information, support onboarding, monitor performance and spot growth opportunities. It runs from January to May/June 2026 and is fully on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Support Account Managers with merchant communications, routine enquiries, account reviews and escalation of complex matters.
• Prepare and maintain account documentation, proposals, presentations, reports and client-interaction summaries.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date merchant information in the CRM and other databases.
• Coordinate with other teams on merchant onboarding, account transitions and timely service delivery.
• Monitor account activities and performance, flag issues or opportunities and update the account management team.
• Support the planning and delivery of Merchant Growth team events and activations.

Required profile

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• Able to prioritise multiple deadlines, track follow-ups and keep deliverables organised.
• Experience may come from work, projects or volunteering.
• Ability to clarify merchant needs, respond to routine requests and follow through on agreed actions.
• Experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity and workflows.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Google Suite.
• Organising and analysing quantitative and qualitative information, identifying patterns and summarising findings.
• Maintaining accurate account records and documenting handoffs.
