Intern, Compliance (Regional)

About the role

ING's Wholesale Bank Asia internship programme (2027) offers a 6-month regional Compliance internship in Singapore, running from January to June. The internship sits within the Compliance team, which covers compliance risk and regulatory topics across Asia and Singapore, including Market Conduct, Conflicts of Interest, Competition, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Data Protection, Record Retention and Ethics and Culture.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in updating and maintaining local and regional compliance frameworks, policies and procedures, including Individual Accountability and Conduct and Related Parties Transactions.
• Assist in rolling out Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for Compliance policies.
• Assist in rolling out mandatory Compliance training.
• Support the Singapore Compliance team on ad hoc projects arising from ordinary business.

Required profile

• Keen attention to detail and keen learner.
• Ability to multi-task, organized, with good interpersonal skills.
• Positive "can do" attitude, enjoys challenges and is willing to take on new tasks.
• Team player.

Required skills

• Experience in web programming languages is looked upon favourably.
