About the role

ING's Wholesale Bank Asia internship programme offers a 6-month placement (January to June 2027) in the Commodities, Food & Agri team at its Singapore office. The team supports clients in the Food, Beverage & Agribusiness subsectors across APAC, covering the full food and agri value chain, and the intern works alongside relationship managers and deal principals in client deal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare client origination and strategic pitches
• Carry out in-depth financial and benchmarking analysis
• Research prospect companies and write strategy papers
• Produce internal reports and dashboards for reporting and research
• Work on other ad hoc projects

Required profile

• Legal right to work in Singapore
• Strong interest in commodity markets
• Hands-on, can-do mentality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong team player
• Fluent in English, spoken and written

Required skills

• Familiarity with Excel (VBA) and PowerPoint
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Experience with data visualisation
