Intern, Loan Distribution Group APAC

About the role

ING's Loan Distribution Group sits within the wider Capital Markets and Advisory team. It covers primary loan syndications and secondary loan sales, and its Loan Syndicate team operates across Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore to help product teams obtain financing mandates beyond their own capacity. This is a six-month full-time internship starting in January 2027, supporting senior colleagues in the Loan Distribution Group across Asia Pacific.

Key responsibilities

• Support the distribution of loans and loan-based products to APAC investors through the primary syndication or secondary sell-down process
• Provide comparative, analytical or marketing information for pitches
• Coordinate and craft pitching materials to win mandates
• Maintain KYC/CDD requirements in line with global ING standards
• Help organise and coordinate local and overseas roadshows for lender presentations
• Draft transaction teasers and information memoranda
• Assist in timely reporting of internal income and pipeline information
• Fulfill other responsibilities as specified from time to time

Required profile

• A curious, highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and a desire to learn
• An analytical mindset with a drive for problem-solving and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and across teams, juggling multiple tasks at once
