Intern, Risk Management & Data Governance

About the role

NTUC Health, an NTUC enterprise providing health and eldercare services in Singapore, is looking for a Risk Management and Data Protection Intern. The role gives hands-on experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Incident Management and Insurance Claims, Data Governance and PDPA, and Organisational Development, supporting the organisation's resilience, compliance and responsible data stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Risk management: help prepare risk assessment reports and presentation materials, document incident reports and maintain incident logs, compile information for insurance claims, track incident resolution and claims progress, support the implementation of an Enterprise Risk Management Framework and help improve Workplace Health and Safety policies.
• Data governance: support data inventory maps and data flow documentation, update Data Governance policies, prepare materials for the Data Governance Committee meetings, shape workflows to strengthen data governance and help deliver PDPA and Data Governance training.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, Risk Management or a related field.
• Good academic performance and interest in risk management, compliance, data protection or incident management.
• Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, organised and able to work with little supervision and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic familiarity with platform configuration, ticket management and workflow customisation is a plus but not required.
