Investment Consultant – Wealth Management

About the role

The Investment Consultant will manage investment portfolios for high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Greater China. You will deliver holistic, risk‑aligned solutions while supporting relationship managers and driving the growth of the bank’s wealth platform.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tailored investment solutions and manage portfolios across unit trusts, equities, fixed income, FX and structured products.
• Communicate Maybank’s CIO view and long‑term strategy, adapting advice to market conditions and client risk appetite.
• Monitor macro‑economic trends, track portfolio performance and ensure compliance with risk tolerances.
• Support relationship managers in portfolio construction, rebalancing and client milestone reviews.
• Drive business acquisition, grow assets under management organically and inorganically, and train RMs on investment concepts.
• Adhere to all regulatory, audit and internal compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Basic or Master’s degree in Finance, Business or Accountancy.
• Successful completion of CACS 1 & CACS 2; CFA or similar accreditation is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of financial industry experience, with at least 5 years in investment advisory or a comparable role.
• Strong collaborative mindset, high interpersonal skills and a passion for investments.
