iOS Software Engineer – Public Healthcare (Hybrid, 1‑yr Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an iOS Software Engineer to join a government‑backed public healthcare project. You will work on the HOPES mobile applications, ensuring they remain secure, stable, and ready for upcoming backend and security enhancements. The role is a 1‑year renewable contract with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS mobile applications using Swift and React Native.
• Implement updates to support backend changes, new security requirements, and feature additions.
• Apply best practices for code quality, version control, testing, and documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce mobile development standards and architectural principles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure reliable performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile application development with Swift and React Native.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience integrating apps with RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
• Familiarity with iOS SDK; experience with SensorKit or Firebase is a plus.
• Background in Agile development environments and CI/CD workflows.
