IT Operations Specialist

About the role

Encora is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to lead its Data Centre operations team on a 24x7 basis in Singapore. You will be responsible for keeping facilities, IT infrastructure and business applications running securely and reliably to support business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor server and application health, system performance and overall availability of IT services.
• Perform Level 1 troubleshooting and recovery for hardware, operating system and application incidents.
• Run, schedule and monitor batch jobs, backup jobs and production job deployments.
• Support production job processing and ensure timely completion according to schedule.

Required profile

• Ability to respond effectively to issues, complex enquiries and complaints from project leaders, users and management.
• Knowledge of Data Centre and critical services management.
• Understanding of IT security, fire safety and workplace safety practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems and applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a proactive team player.
