IT Sales Manager, Defence

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is hiring an IT Sales Manager for its Defence vertical in Singapore. Reporting to the Sales Lead, the role drives sales in designated accounts and industries, builds trusted relationships with key clients and coordinates pre-sales, professional services and support resources to close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow a portfolio of defence accounts by engaging key decision makers and selling NCS solutions
• Manage and coordinate contract terms and conditions internally and externally
• Build relationships at all levels with the assigned clients and develop value propositions to close deals
• Identify business from new and existing clients, manage sold margin and Business Centre revenue, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate across functional teams and Lines of Business (LOBs) to deliver winning solutions and meet service expectations
• Work with Client Service Units and LOBs to define solution offerings and value propositions for each opportunity

Required profile

• At least 6-10 years of sales experience, preferably in IT services
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
• University degree or polytechnic diploma; a background in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is a plus
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and exceptional negotiation, presentation and deal-making skills
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders preferred
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
