IT System Administrator – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for an IT System Administrator to join our infrastructure team on a 12‑month contract in Bedok, Singapore. The role involves maintaining Windows servers, desktop environments and basic network infrastructure while ensuring high availability and compliance with change management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server (2012 and later) and perform installations, upgrades, patches and hot‑fixes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laptops and desktops running Windows 7 or newer.
• Configure basic network elements such as Cisco switches, VLAN ports and resolve client network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware problems on servers, network equipment and UPS devices.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date documentation for systems, installations and operational procedures.
• Perform daily system health checks and manage ROBOCOPY‑based server housekeeping.
• Support Office 365 and Microsoft Teams deployments and document all activities.
• Coordinate with the infrastructure lead, follow the Change Management process and report progress.
• Handle incident and problem tickets according to ITSM processes and liaise with vendors when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Windows server, desktop and network support.
• Strong analytical mindset, ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive attitude and initiative‑driven.
