Junior Accountant (Entry Level)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join a boutique accounting and advisory firm. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career accountants who want to move beyond basic bookkeeping and gain hands‑on experience in corporate and SME finance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the finance team in preparing financial statements and reports for mid‑size companies and corporations.
• Assist with day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks and transaction recording.
• Utilise Xero and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) to manage client data and financial records.
• Liaise with Chinese‑speaking clients to gather information and clarify accounting requirements.
• Collaborate with senior accountants and mentors to develop professional accounting skills.

Required profile

• Possess an Accounting certificate, degree, or equivalent experience.
• Prior exposure to Xero and Google’s suite of applications.
• Fluent in Chinese to communicate effectively with clients.
• Recent graduate or junior accountant eager to build a career in finance.
