Junior Content Creator

About the role

A hands-on Junior Content Creator is sought for the Content Studio, working alongside a video editor. The role produces two streams of work: brand and educational content for Motorist's own channels, and partner content for the Media Sales team. It suits someone who can turn a brief into a published video with minimal handholding.

Key responsibilities

• Ideate and produce short-form videos that grow the Motorist brand, covering paid campaigns, COE, road tax, insurance and other topics
• Monitor trends on TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts and adapt them to the brand's voice and audience
• Work with the Media Sales team to create content for brand partners, developing concepts, scripts, shoots and edits
• Attend partner events to capture coverage and fast-turnaround highlight reels
• Manage a content calendar balancing brand needs with partner deliverables
• Track views, saves, shares, engagement rate and use the data to shape future content

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field
• Content creator mindset: follows trends critically and adapts ideas across TikTok, Reels and Shorts
• Comfortable on camera when needed
• Ability to manage a content calendar and spot conflicts early
• Optional: experience in automotive, finance or lifestyle content; familiarity with DJI Osmo / gimbals; basic motion graphics or kinetic text in CapCut
