Junior PCB Design Engineer

About the role

The company is seeking a Junior PCB Design Engineer to support the development of new printed circuit board (PCB) designs and improve existing layouts. This is an entry‑level position based in Toa Payoh, Singapore, offering hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving electronics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop PCB layouts, including component placement and trace routing.
• Review existing designs and recommend improvements.
• Assist with circuit simulation and feasibility evaluation for new concepts.
• Prepare design documentation, specifications and PCB models.
• Perform PCB testing and analyse test results.
• Provide regular project updates and participate in discussions.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge or hands‑on exposure to PCB design and layout.
• Familiarity with PCB design software through work, internship, school projects or training.
• Ability to read technical drawings and prepare basic engineering documentation.
• Willingness to learn, detail‑oriented and able to work well within an engineering team.

Required skills

• PCB design software (e.g., Altium, Eagle, etc.).
• Fundamental understanding of electronic circuits and component placement.
• Interpretation of technical drawings.

What we offer

• Basic monthly salary of S$3,800–S$4,000.
