Kitchen Supervisor – Food Preparation & Team Lead

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Kitchen Supervisor to lead our food preparation team at Crystal Paradise. The role involves overseeing daily cooking operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and a seamless service experience across all our Singapore locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including slicing, chopping, mincing, mixing and seasoning.
• Execute hot‑meal cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying and broiling.
• Maintain HACCP logs, temperature controls and all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Contribute to daily, holiday and themed menus in collaboration with senior staff.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring clean work areas and proper equipment maintenance.
• Handle customer feedback, resolve complaints and implement service improvements.
• Develop new menu items and adapt existing dishes, with a focus on North Indian cuisine.
• Manage kitchen expenses, food cost, inventory and staffing within budgetary limits.

Required profile

• Professional experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to work shifts and handle a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of North Indian dishes.
• Commitment to food safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, broiling.
• Food safety procedures (HACCP) and temperature monitoring.
• Inventory management and cost control.
• Menu development and recipe adaptation.
