Lab Technician – 1 Year Contract (CPS SG)

About the role

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician for a 1‑year fixed‑term contract at our CPS SG plant in Tuas, Singapore. The role supports the evaluation of ingredients, work‑in‑process, and finished beverage bases, ensuring compliance with company specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical‑chemical, microbiological and sensory tests on ingredients, packaging materials, intermediate and final products.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Complete approval and release procedures in SAP, maintaining accurate quality data.
• Calibrate and maintain analytical equipment.
• Conduct method validation, control charting, and out‑of‑specification analysis.
• Document laboratory procedures, test results and maintain records.
• Manage inventories of chemicals, reagents, glassware and MSDS.
• Support procurement of laboratory supplies.

Required profile

• Diploma in Chemistry, Food Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a food/beverage or pharmaceutical multinational quality control or laboratory environment.
• Familiarity with GMP and GLP is an advantage.
• Ability to execute food industry analytical testing.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
