About the role
ALST is hiring a Lab Technician / Junior Chemist in Singapore. The role sits within a global team that uses scientific testing and data-driven insights to build a healthier future. Training is provided for fresh graduates.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare samples and standards for analysis
- Carry out routine laboratory testing according to AOAC and in-house methods
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation
- Maintain relevant documentation
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- Ensure all work and reporting of results follow quality, work and HSE procedures and requirements
Required profile
- Minimum ITE Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Chemical Process or related fields
- Candidate with experience is an added advantage; fresh graduates are welcome as training is provided
- Able to start work on short notice preferred
- Eligible to work in Singapore (citizen or permanent resident, or holds or can obtain a valid working visa)

- Ability to work independently
