Lead Expert, Supply Planning B&C

About the role

The Lead Expert, Supply Planning will manage inventory for in‑house manufactured and third‑party materials across Singapore, Japan and Thailand. You will work closely with the Beauty & Care sales team and global supply partners to ensure optimal stock levels, mitigate supply risks and support regional supply‑chain objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Beauty & Care Sales & Commercial team to maintain appropriate inventory, quickly identify anomalies and determine root causes.
• Coordinate phase‑in/out strategies and material substitutions in partnership with Commercial.
• Work with Global Supply & Inventory Planners and Global Supply Chain Managers to guarantee timely replenishment shipments to regional and local distribution centres.
• Monitor shipment delays or issues and communicate them promptly to the Sales & Commercial team.
• Plan replenishment based on the IBP forecast for the region (Singapore, Japan & Thailand).
• Drive accountability with market planners to meet desired days‑of‑inventory coverage and operating working capital, leading demand‑supply imbalance management.
• Establish inventory management processes with third‑party service providers to ensure accuracy, healthy turnover, minimal damage and proper storage/disposal.
• Serve as the focal point for all Asia Pacific product‑supply topics and propose allocation distribution for in‑stock and non‑stock SKUs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, supply‑chain management or a related field.
• Familiarity with SAP systems, including ECC, IBP and APO.
• Experience with supply‑chain management activities and planning methods.
• Experience in import clearance processes.
• Strong statistical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities using various software tools.
