Lead LLM Data Scientist – Singapore

About the role

Join Agoda’s cutting‑edge AI team to design, build, and own large‑language‑model (LLM) powered features that help millions of travelers book flights, hotels, and activities. You will have end‑to‑end ownership of systems that interpret user intent, plan multi‑step trips, and interact with internal pricing and booking services.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end LLM systems: design, develop, and maintain production pipelines from intent detection to booking execution.
• Turn ambiguous product problems into concrete ML solutions, balancing quality, latency, cost, and reliability.
• Partner with product, engineering, and leadership to make cross‑functional trade‑offs that shape user experience.
• Ship quickly, gather real‑world feedback, and iteratively improve system behavior at scale.

Required profile

• Technical depth: strong hands‑on data‑science experience including modeling, feature engineering, statistics, and experimentation.
• LLM systems and evaluation: experience building and operating production LLM systems (e.g., retrieval‑augmented generation, tool/agent orchestration, context and memory management) with a focus on testing and iteration.
• Problem‑solving mindset: excellent analytical skills and comfort working in open‑ended, evolving problem spaces.
