Lead Project Manager - Data & AI

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is looking for a Project Manager with strong experience in the Data and AI domain to lead the planning, execution and delivery of innovative, data-driven solutions. The role works closely with technical teams and business stakeholders so that projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for Data & AI initiatives, including scoping, planning, resource allocation, budgeting and risk management.
• Define objectives, timelines and deliverables with data engineers, data scientists and business analysts, and monitor progress and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security and data management standards.
• Serve as main point of contact for project communications, align business sponsors, technical teams and external partners, and prepare reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Proactively manage risks, issues and change requests, and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams, help resolve blockers and prioritize work, and foster accountability and delivery excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 5-10 years of project management experience, with at least 2-3 years in data, analytics or AI projects.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification preferred.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of data lifecycle management, data platforms, analytics tools and AI/ML concepts.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
