Lecturer (Architecture) – Integrated Digital Delivery & Design

About the role

Singapore Polytechnic seeks a passionate Lecturer in Architecture to deliver diploma‑level courses across the Construction Industry Transformation Map and architectural domains. The role blends teaching, curriculum development, and industry collaboration, supporting both pre‑employment and continuing education programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lessons, assessment materials, and learning activities for Computational Design, AI applications, and History & Theory of Architecture.
• Maintain up‑to‑date curricula by monitoring industry trends and recommending improvements.
• Mentor students for competitions, supervise projects, internships, and lead overseas learning or community‑service initiatives.
• Partner with staff and industry partners to create applied consultancy and project‑based learning opportunities.
• Support SkillsFuture initiatives, including Enhanced Internship and Work‑Study programmes.

Required profile

• Relevant architecture qualifications and professional certifications.
• 2–8 years of professional experience, preferably in Computational Design and AI.
• Demonstrated passion for youth development, resourcefulness, innovation, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to teach Integrated Digital Delivery, Green Buildings Design, Construction & Detailing, and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfMA).
