Lecturer - Hotel & Leisure Management (Front Office)

About the role

The School of Hospitality at Republic Polytechnic is looking for a dedicated, service-oriented Lecturer to support curriculum delivery in Hotel and Leisure Management, with a strong focus on Front Office (FOH) Operations. The role helps students build the practical skills and service-excellence standards needed for frontline hospitality jobs, and suits professionals with hands-on operational experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons in Front Office Operations, Guest Relations and other service-centric modules
• Support student development in and out of the classroom
• Assist in curriculum enhancement, student assessments and hands-on practical training
• Use digital tools and technology in teaching or demonstrations, such as videos and PMS/TMS software simulations
• Work collaboratively with academic teams and industry partners

Required profile

• A relevant academic qualification in hospitality, hotel management or a related field; a diploma or degree is acceptable
• At least 5 to 8 years of industry experience in Front Office operations in hotels, resorts or hospitality venues
• Solid understanding of guest service standards and hotel systems (e.g. PMS, TMS)
• Prior experience training or mentoring in hospitality is an advantage
