About the role
Curtin Singapore is seeking a Lecturer (or Senior Lecturer) in Accounting to join its School of Business and Entrepreneurship. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, supporting curriculum innovation and contributing to the school’s research agenda.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials and workshops for undergraduate and postgraduate accounting programmes.
- Design and assess authentic assessment tasks, ensuring rigorous and engaging learning experiences.
- Develop and support academic programmes, including unit design, accreditation and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and counsel students, supervising honours, master’s and PhD projects where required.
- Conduct research, publish scholarly work and seek competitive research funding.
- Participate in school administration, industry‑engaged learning initiatives and external partnership activities.
Required profile
- Relevant academic qualification (e.g., PhD or equivalent) in Accounting or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience teaching accounting at the university level.
- Strong record of scholarly research and publications.
- Ability to develop innovative, industry‑relevant curriculum and assessment.
- Willingness to engage with industry, government and professional bodies locally and internationally.
