Lecturer / Senior Lecturer - Integrated Community Care

About the role

The School of Sports and Health at Republic Polytechnic is recruiting a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer for its Diploma in Integrated Community Care (DICC). The diploma prepares students for emerging roles in Singapore's health and social care landscape, covering healthcare, social services and community-based support. The lecturer delivers PET and CET programmes and supports applied learning and research.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver academic and instructional duties for Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes.
• Design, review and update the curriculum to keep it relevant to the sector and uphold academic governance.
• Facilitate student learning through experiential, practice-based approaches and mentor students holistically.
• Supervise final-year projects, internships, overseas study trips and co-curricular activities.
• Build partnerships with healthcare providers, community organisations and social service agencies.
• Contribute to applied research and development projects in integrated community care.
• Take part in school-wide administration, events, outreach and committee work.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in nursing, allied health, social work, public health, health administration or a related discipline.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in community care or healthcare (e.g. aged care, primary care, ILTC providers, VWOs, public health).
• Knowledge of local health and social care systems and government initiatives such as Healthier SG and Community Networks for Seniors is preferred.
• Passion for education, student development and building manpower for the integrated care sector.
