Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Sustainability Finance)

About the role

Temasek Polytechnic's School of Business is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Sustainability Finance. The successful candidate will teach PET and CET learners, develop curriculum and course materials, and work closely with industry.

Key responsibilities

• Distil the knowledge and skills needed for sustainability finance into stackable teaching units for PET and CET training.
• Develop teaching and assessment curriculum and course materials for PET and CET learners, driving teaching excellence.
• Conduct PET classes and CET training in line with Temasek Polytechnic's teaching quality standards.
• Collaborate with industry to provide industry linkages to the curriculum and engage with industry projects and workgroups.
• Lead and/or contribute to school activities, poly-based committees and inter-poly activities.
• Lead, mentor and coach students in school curriculum, activities and interest or student groups.
• Organise and administer student activities such as learning journeys and student trips.
• Teach business school subjects alongside sustainable finance subjects.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in finance, banking, investment, asset management, business, economics and/or sustainability; advanced degrees or certifications in sustainability are a plus.
• Preferred: working experience in sustainable/green finance, sustainability management or corporate sustainability in local contexts.
• Preferred: experience in climate change management, carbon markets, transition plans, decarbonisation strategies and impact indicator reporting.
• Strong communicator who can collaborate to drive positive learning outcomes, with a growth mindset and good administrative and multi-tasking skills.
• Digital savviness and passion for coaching, mentoring and guiding students.
