Legal Counsel – Asset Management (3-month contract)

About the role
We are seeking a Legal Counsel on a short‑term (approximately three‑month) contract to support a financial institution’s asset‑management and investment activities. The role is based in Hong Kong, with the possibility for Singapore‑based lawyers to work remotely. The successful candidate will join the team in mid‑ to end‑July and be expected to hit the ground running.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on asset‑management and investment matters for the client.
- Review and draft contracts, policies, and regulatory filings related to the asset‑management business.
- Support compliance with relevant financial regulations in Hong Kong (and applicable Singapore regulations).
Required profile
- Mid‑level to senior lawyer with experience in the financial services sector.
- Prior in‑house experience in asset‑management or investment law is strongly preferred.
- Available to start mid‑ to end‑July and able to work independently.
- Open to Hong Kong‑based candidates; Singapore‑based lawyers may work remotely.
