About the role
We are seeking a Legal Counsel specialized in banking to join a leading European bank’s Singapore team. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and support on banking and debt capital markets (DCM) matters, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver legal counsel on banking transactions and DCM activities.
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, loan agreements and related documentation.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise business units on compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel as needed.
Required profile
- 4 to 7 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE).
- Demonstrated experience in banking or DCM work, either from private practice or in‑house.
- Qualified in Singapore or another common‑law jurisdiction.
