Legal Counsel – Family Office (Singapore)

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our family office in Singapore. The role provides comprehensive legal support across investment transactions, corporate governance, trusts and foundations, and dispute resolution, with a strong emphasis on compliance and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Support equity investments and transactions, including structuring, due diligence, drafting, negotiation, and exit arrangements.
• Draft, review, and consolidate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to investments, operations, and governance.
• Assist in the setup and administration of family trusts and foundations, ensuring ongoing compliance through periodic reviews.
• Handle incorporation, governance, and statutory filings of entities in coordination with corporate secretarial providers.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and support dispute resolution matters, including litigation and arbitration, evidence collection, and case preparation.
• Perform additional legal and compliance tasks as assigned, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law; Singapore Bar qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in investment, corporate law, private wealth management, or a family office environment.
• Litigation experience and strong ability to draft and review contracts.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
