Legal Counsel

About the role

AEG is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across its diverse portfolio of sports, live entertainment, and real‑estate projects. The role will serve as a strategic partner to business units in Singapore, China, Japan and Thailand, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate contracts related to real‑estate development, live‑event production and other commercial activities.
• Design and deliver legal and compliance training for internal stakeholders.
• Identify, evaluate and implement improvements to legal processes, including the use of legal‑tech tools.
• Support the rollout of policies and initiatives that strengthen internal controls and procedures.
• Monitor legislative changes affecting the business and advise on necessary adaptations.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and oversee data‑privacy and information‑security matters.

Required profile

• LLB or JD from a reputable law school.
• 4‑7 years post‑qualification experience, preferably a mix of law‑firm and in‑house work.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic business partner with high emotional intelligence.
• Interest in live entertainment is a plus, but not mandatory.
