Legal Counsel (TMT)

About the role

The Legal Counsel (TMT) will provide legal and strategic guidance across technology, media, telecommunications and digital content matters. Working closely with product, commercial and leadership teams, the role supports business growth, digital transformation and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on technology, media, telecommunications and digital content issues, including data privacy, cybersecurity and consumer protection.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as technology services, software licensing, content licensing, distribution, advertising, sponsorship and partnership contracts.
• Support intellectual property protection and exploitation, covering copyright, trademarks, branding, licensing and content rights.
• Assist with product launches, platform partnerships and business expansion initiatives, identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks.
• Collaborate with business, commercial, marketing, product and leadership teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 3‑6 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) in private practice and/or an in‑house legal department.
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: technology, media, telecommunications (TMT), commercial contracts or intellectual property.
