Livestream & Content Intern (2027 Intake)

About the role

Carousell Group is seeking a Livestream & Content Intern to join its luxury retail and livestream commerce team. This hands‑on internship offers exposure to live‑selling sessions, short‑form video creation for platforms like TikTok, and in‑store retail support. You will work closely with the livestream host and retail staff to showcase luxury products and engage customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support livestream preparation, including product setup, pricing details, and backstage coordination.
• Assist the livestream host during live sessions by managing product flow, answering customer questions, and tracking sold items.
• Create TikTok and short‑form content such as sneak peeks, product highlights, behind‑the‑scenes clips, and post‑livestream recaps.
• Capture and edit simple videos using TikTok, CapCut, Instagram Reels, or similar tools.
• Support in‑store retail sales by attending to customers, handling product enquiries, and maintaining store presentation.
• Update livestream trackers, sales records, and product status after each session.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Retail, Fashion, Media, or a related field.
• Interest in luxury retail, livestreaming, e‑commerce, social commerce, and short‑form content creation.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and supporting retail sales activities.
• Willingness to appear on livestream when required.
• Organised, detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfortable using basic tools such as Google Sheets or Excel.

Required skills

• Basic video editing using TikTok, CapCut, Instagram Reels or similar tools.
• Familiarity with TikTok platform for content creation.
• Experience with CapCut for video editing.
• Ability to create short‑form videos for Instagram Reels.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
