Logistics Operations Assistant – 5.5 days/week – Sembawang

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Logistics Operations Assistant to join our team in Sembawang. You will support daily logistics activities, coordinate deliveries, and ensure smooth communication between transporters, customers, and internal teams. This junior‑level position offers a stable permanent contract and a hybrid work schedule of 5.5 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Process and update delivery orders (DO) in the Bcore system.
• Liaise with transporters and customers to arrange returns and deliveries.
• Prepare mill certificates and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Follow up with drivers and customers to resolve unloading issues.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams on urgent order requests.
• Arrange collection and delivery of coupler bars.
• Support the logistics team on quality‑control matters related to sample bars.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone or email.
• Maintain both physical and electronic filing systems for easy document retrieval.
• Assist with stock takes and inventory counts.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE O Level or Polytechnic Diploma.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in logistics, operations, or delivery coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
