Logistics Operations Assistant (Islandwide, Singapore)

About the role

The Logistics Operations Assistant will support daily logistics activities across Singapore, ensuring smooth coordination between transporters, customers, and internal teams. This role is essential for maintaining efficient delivery processes and accurate documentation within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process and update delivery orders (DO) in the Bcore system.
• Liaise with transporters and customers to manage DO returns.
• Assist with delivery arrangements, prepare mill certificates, and coordinate with customers before dispatch.
• Follow up with drivers and customers to resolve unloading issues.
• Collaborate with production and planning teams on urgent order requests.
• Arrange collection and delivery of coupler bars.
• Support the logistics team on quality control matters for sample bars.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries via phone or email.
• Organise both manual and electronic files for easy retrieval.
• Assist with stock takes and inventory counts.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE O Level or Polytechnic Diploma.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in logistics, operations, or delivery coordination.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications such as email and Excel.
