Logistics Quality Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Logistics Quality Engineer to develop and apply quality standards for our semiconductor and display equipment production in Singapore. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure product and process precision while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and apply quality standards in line with company and customer requirements.
• Design, implement, and document inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for products and production equipment.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for inspection and testing procedures, recommending corrective actions when needed.
• Gather operational and test data, evaluate results, and track qualification status.
• Review reliability test outcomes, determine disposition of non‑compliant products, and release qualification packs.
• Participate in internal and external audits, utilizing drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Reduce qualification cycle time and cost while meeting quality performance targets.

Required profile

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in quality engineering and a willingness to broaden capabilities.
• Understanding of key business drivers and ability to apply this insight to daily tasks.
• Provides informal guidance to new team members without formal supervisory duties.
• Effective problem‑solving skills, using technical experience and judgment.
