Machine Learning Engineer (Contract) - Financial Services

About the role

A financial services organisation in Singapore is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer on a temporary basis. You will design, develop and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems, and own the end-to-end AI development lifecycle, including GenAI and agentic AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, train and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into existing systems.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
• Optimise algorithms to improve model performance and accuracy.
• Maintain deployed models and document processes for reproducibility.
• Stay up to date with ML and AI advances and support team members technically.

Required profile

• Strong background in computer science, data science or a related field.
• Proven experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Good knowledge of Agentic AI, RAG and similar approaches.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.

Required skills

• Python with machine learning libraries and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Machine learning frameworks and tools.
• Data preprocessing, feature engineering and model evaluation.
