Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the day‑to‑day upkeep of the Singapore Swimming Club’s facilities. The role ensures that all mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, equipment and infrastructure are safe, reliable and ready for member activities and events.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support M&E technicians, ensuring work meets standards and safety requirements.
• Plan, assign and monitor maintenance tasks, repairs and improvement projects to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate contractors, overseeing compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and contract terms.
• Provide technical support for events, including setup, testing and standby operations.
• Liaise with internal departments to meet operational and facility needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve M&E breakdowns and emergencies promptly.
• Conduct routine inspections, identify defects and prioritize corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports and logs.
• Monitor inventory of tools, equipment and spare parts, ensuring proper stock control.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service standards.

Required profile

• Higher Nitec in Mechanical or Building Services (minimum).
• At least two years of relevant experience in a similar operational setting.
• Knowledge of air‑conditioning, electrical, sound and plumbing systems.
• Valid plumber licence is highly advantageous.
• Previous experience in the hotel or club industry is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
