Management Trainee – Back of House (BOH)

About the role

Join Commonwealth Concepts as a Management Trainee (Back of House) and support the Outlet Chef and Restaurant Manager in delivering smooth kitchen and service operations across our outlets. This permanent junior‑level position offers a fast‑track career path through a structured training programme.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Outlet Chef/Outlet Manager in daily kitchen and service operations.
• Prepare and cook food while maintaining high quality and hygiene standards.
• Help plan staff rosters, order weekly food supplies and minimise waste.
• Monitor outlet expenses, ensure costs stay within budget, and report any discrepancies.
• Supervise outlet operations, serve customers when needed, and handle cashiering and cash flow.
• Address customer complaints, maintain good relationships, and incorporate feedback for improvement.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management, including working off‑hours or at other outlets.

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline.
• Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Italian cuisine.
• Strong leadership, training and motivational abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and across multiple outlets.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Italian food preparation.
