Manager, Ecosystem Development

About the role

The Manager, Ecosystem Development reports directly to the Deputy Director and supports the strategic leadership of integrated business development and stakeholder engagement. The role covers strategy support, ecosystem development, stakeholder engagement, partnership development and organisational influence.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of strategies, conduct horizon scanning and research, and prepare strategic analyses and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Execute ecosystem development initiatives, analyse market trends and feedback, coordinate day-to-day pro-enterprise engagements, and identify operational gaps and opportunities.
• Manage and nurture key stakeholder relationships.
• Support the identification, evaluation and development of partnerships, assist in negotiating agreements, monitor partnership performance and provide updates.
• Champion a culture of strategic thinking, continuous improvement and proactive engagement across the organisation, aligned with its long-term goals and values.

Required profile

• Strong background in life sciences, public health, business administration, communications or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-6 years of progressive leadership experience in business development, partnership management or stakeholder engagement within healthcare, pharmaceutical, regulatory or related sectors.
• Demonstrated experience working with regulatory bodies, healthcare institutions or scientific organisations.
• Outstanding relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with government agencies, industry partners and international organisations.
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in international and multicultural environments.
• Results-oriented mindset with measurable outcomes in partnership development and stakeholder engagement.
