Manager, Graduate Career Development

About the role

The Graduate Studies Career Development (GSCD) team at Nanyang Business School seeks a Manager to lead world‑class career services for its postgraduate students. You will act as the primary liaison between students, employers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring a robust pipeline of full‑time jobs, internships, and industry projects for over 900 graduates.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver career workshops, networking events, and company presentations in line with GSCD strategy.
• Identify and secure global career opportunities, developing tiered engagement plans for key hiring organisations.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with recruiters, hiring managers, and alumni across target sectors and markets.
• Collaborate with NTU/NBS internal units such as Associate Deans, Academic Directors, and the NTU Career Office to source employment opportunities.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support for matching students with jobs and internships.
• Serve as a thought partner on employer trends, industry projects, and sector‑specific student counselling.
• Develop and manage a recruitment calendar to ensure continuous job pipeline for postgraduate students.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in employer engagement and career services within higher education.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with alumni and industry partners in key hiring sectors.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and employer needs in Singapore and international markets.
• Excellent coordination skills to work with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Proven capability to provide student counselling and monitor internship performance.
