Manager - Loans Operations

About the role

SS&C Technologies, a leading provider of AI-powered technology and services for financial services and healthcare, is hiring a Manager - Loans Operations. The role oversees end-to-end servicing and administration of syndicated and bilateral loan products, ensuring accurate, timely and controlled operations in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies. It focuses on client service, risk and control, process improvement and the use of automation and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Run end-to-end loan operations across the transaction lifecycle, including trade capture, settlements, funding, rollovers, interest processing and reconciliations, meeting SLAs and operational standards.
• Monitor daily operations, identify and resolve exceptions, bottlenecks and processing discrepancies.
• Manage client onboarding and account transitions.
• Maintain operational controls through data integrity, transaction processing, cash and position reconciliations and accrual management.
• Support internal and external audits and strengthen governance, risk and compliance frameworks.
• Identify, assess, escalate and mitigate operational risks.
• Act as main contact for internal stakeholders and external counterparties, handling queries and escalations.
• Partner with Front Office, Middle Office, Compliance, Finance, Technology and others.
• Drive process improvements, automation and system enhancements, and support testing and deployment of new systems and workflow tools.
• Maintain process documentation, SOPs, controls and artefacts, and prepare operational reports, KPIs and management information.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or a related field.
• Experience in loans operations or loan servicing.
• Knowledge of syndicated loans and the loan lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with loan servicing systems such as Allvue, Solvas, ClearPar, Investran or eFront.
• Ability to manage high-volume processing under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Deep technical knowledge of loan structures: bilateral, syndicated, PIK loans, revolvers, bridge loans, distressed debt and mezzanine.
• Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
