Manager, Operations Management (Leadership Development Program)

About the role

Applied Materials is recruiting for its Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) in Singapore, a full-time, 18-month rotational program for experienced manufacturing operations and engineering professionals preparing for senior operations leadership roles. Participants take on meaningful operational ownership with clear deliverables and measurable outcomes, supported by mentors and performance coaching.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead critical operational initiatives across manufacturing and engineering
• Deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, on-time delivery and safety
• Lead cross-functional, multicultural teams through ambiguity and change
• Translate tactical and strategic priorities into executable operational plans
• Build an enterprise-level perspective through rotations and stretch assignments

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with a strong performance record
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a technical discipline
• Demonstrated managerial or team leadership experience
• Background in manufacturing, engineering, semiconductor or adjacent industries
• Preferred: experience influencing teams in a global environment
