Manager, Planning

About the role

NHG Population Health serves 1.5 million residents in Central and North Singapore, working across three Missions: Population Health, Community Health and Primary Care. The Planning team turns national health priorities and organisational directives into clear direction for these Missions through strategy and workplan development, performance monitoring and corporate development. The Manager, Planning oversees corporate development, governance and administration so that planning stays aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead corporate planning and workplan development in line with strategic priorities, including performance monitoring and reporting to management
• Support senior management in strategic conversations and reviews at key leadership platforms
• Analyse complex, cross-cutting issues and turn strategic priorities into actionable plans for the organisation's next phase of transformation
• Use insights from population data and assets to help shape the long-term development blueprint

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate planning, performance reporting, programme or project management or a related area; healthcare or public sector experience is advantageous
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, able to synthesise complex information and develop options for management decisions
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to prepare clear, accurate reports, briefs and presentations
• Comfortable working across teams and engaging stakeholders at all levels of seniority
• Organised and dependable, able to manage several reporting cycles, projects and deadlines at once

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Data visualisation or reporting tools are useful but not required
