Manager, Revenue Strategy & Operations (SEA)
airwallex · Singapore
Job description
About the role
Airingwallex is looking for a Manager, Revenue Strategy & Operations (SEA) to drive its entry and growth in the Southeast Asia market. The role works closely with commercial, operations, product and regional APAC teams, from market sizing and go-to-market design to day-to-day execution and continuous improvement. It suits someone who enjoys building 0 to 1, thrives in ambiguity and wants to shape Airwallex's footprint in Southeast Asia.
Key responsibilities
- Shape SEA market strategy: size and map the market, define key verticals, competitors, ideal customer profiles, use cases and revenue opportunities across products such as global accounts, FX, payments, issuing and treasury.
- Lead go-to-market execution: define country plays, coordinate launch milestones, manage timelines and track progress with local and international teams.
- Partner on customer onboarding and operations with risk, compliance and implementation teams, balancing customer experience with regulatory and risk requirements.
- Localise and scale core processes such as lead management, pipeline hygiene, pricing/approvals, forecasting and incentive design.
- Drive product-market fit in SEA by gathering customer and prospect feedback and turning it into prioritised product requirements.
- Run high-quality analysis on market sizing, pricing, unit economics, sales productivity and channel performance, giving executives actionable recommendations.
- Own cross-functional projects end to end, such as new vertical entry, partnerships, new product launches and process redesign.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in strategy and/or operations roles, such as management consulting or in-house strategy and operations in high-growth tech, fintech or financial services.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong project and stakeholder management, with experience in international teams across time zones and markets.
- Business-level English; fluency or working proficiency in one or more Southeast Asian languages is a strong advantage.
- Commercial acumen, comfort with revenue, cost and profitability drivers, and ability to influence without direct authority.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience supporting or leading market entry, country launches or new product launches, especially in Southeast Asia.
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking or other regulated industries.
- Hands-on experience with CRM, BI dashboards, spreadsheets and financial or operating models.
- MBA or other advanced degree from a top-tier institution is a plus.
